EIA Natural Gas Storage Report 8-6-20

Working gas in storage was 3,274 Bcf as of Friday, July 31, 2020, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 33 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 601 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 429 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,845 Bcf. At 3,274 Bcf, the total working gas is within the five-year historical range.

Analyst expect today’s EIA weekly storage report to come in at about 31 Bcf. This is higher than last week’s 25 Bcf figure.
